On the firing pin ring, push in the retention point on the left hand side and rotate the firing pin ring counter-clockwise and rest the hammer on it. When ready to fire, push the right hand side retention point and cock the hammer.

This is designed for fast shooting. You load the gun with the quick loader and unload with the quick unloader. The cylinder needs to be removed from the gun for loading and unloading. The gun always stays in your hands never needed to be put down for loading and unloading. There are two types of this variation. First type has a single firing pin ring and the firing pin ring in most cases stays attached to the gun for loading and unloading and has a hammer lock safety device in a variety of ways. The second type has multiple firing pins.

Rotate the firing pin ring counter-clockwise and rest the hammer in between the firing pins. When ready to fire, just cock the gun's hammer.

This works the same as the .38 Caliber Converter kit.
